Customer service : “I, Mystery Shopper”

In the French daily newspaper Le Parisien, Christian Pereira recounts his experience as a tester who audited companies during the Election of Customer Service of the Year. Story time.

Mystery Shopper ? This is one of the activity of Christian Pereira, 42 years old. This resident of Toulouse works for the Marketing and Behavorial institute BVA, sometimes as an investigator, sometimes as a tester, and evaluate the customer services of companies.

He graduated in French as a Foreign Languages and took part in the Customer Service of the Year Election for tenth time. A two-and-a-half-month marathon – from May 6 to last July 12 – during which the forties contacted dozens of companies, juggling emails, chat, telephone or even social networks.
